Hi there! It’s great to see you here! I’m Eirik Halvorson, a portrait and editorial photographer based in scenic Central Oregon.
For me, being creative has always been an essential part of my life whether it be writing music, drawing, or most importantly holding a camera in my hands. I’ve always been intrigued by the interplay between light and dark, by the power and emotions images can convey in our lives. The axiom of a picture expressing a thousand words is quite true. How can someone even begin to describe a simple portrait? Words suffice up to a point, but it is the visual aspect that pierces so much deeper into our minds and souls.
This is what I strive to capture in each shot I take, something memorable, something full of ineffability, something epic! Something unique for you to treasure for many generations to come.
